Evelyn Ducoulombier has spent her entire career working for non-profits and for the betterment of the community which she serves. She has been at Operation HOPE since 2006 working in the Administration Department in support of various Operation HOPE’s departments and Executive staff including the Office of the President, and then most recently serving as Director of HOPE Corps and HOPE Talent or as she calls it the "People Power" of HOPE providing a structured base of support for all volunteers, oversaw the HR Department and the Fellows, Interns and Loaned Executive (FILE) program with the mission to develop the next generation of leaders focused on economic empowerment and financial literacy.
Previously, she worked for the Y (YMCA) as a Program Director. In that capacity she worked with children, parents, government entities, community leaders, and school districts overseeing before and after school programs, grant-based programming and summer programs for youth, teens, and young adults.
Ms. Ducoulombier has also overseen the management of programs and projects. She also oversees all grant management for the organization working closely with program and development staff and senior leaders to manage the grant portfolio, ensuring organizational effectiveness and compliance, to help set relevant policies and provide technical assistance as required.
Ms. Ducoulombier has been the recipient of the Chairman’s Award twice. She has also received the HOPE Employee of the Year in 2009 which is given to employees who have exceeded expectation and provided a great service to the company.
Ms. Ducoulombier is originally from Argentina and is the child of entrepreneurs who have taught her that all things are possible if you work hard and believe in your purpose. She lives in Southern California with her husband and son.
