ATLANTA – Nov. 17, 2017 – The next HOPE Global Forums | Annual Meeting, a key initiative of global financial dignity and economic empowerment nonprofit, Operation HOPE, Inc., will be held in Atlanta, March 26-28, 2018. With the theme “Navigating a New World Order,” the 2018 HOPE Global Forums | Annual Meeting will challenge over 3,700 delegates from more than 45 countries to outline a vision for a stronger and more sustainable economic model, where rising prosperity lifts everyone. The program will unpack the theme with tracks including The Future of Work, Social Mobility, Financial Inclusion, Governance and Public Policy, Media and Culture, and Technology and Innovation, seeking to leverage each of these areas to broadly expand economic growth and opportunity.

"Our annual meeting is now firmly positioned as THE place to be for those advocating for and committed to the cause of expanding opportunities for underserved communities," said Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer John Hope Bryant. "Next year, we will extend our focus on mapping out a plan for inclusive economics - outlining a vision for creating a stronger and more sustainable economic model, one where rising prosperity benefits everyone, and requires leadership not just from the government, but the private sector as well."

About Operation HOPE

Since 1992, Operation HOPE has been moving America from civil rights to "silver rights" with the mission of making free enterprise and capitalism work for the underserved—disrupting poverty for millions of low- and moderate-income families across the nation. Through our community uplift model, HOPE Inside, which received the 2016 Innovator of the Year recognition by American Banker magazine, Operation HOPE has served more than 2.8 million individuals and directed more than $2.7 billion in economic activity into disenfranchised communities—turning check cashing customers into banking customers, renters into homeowners, small business dreamers into small business owners, minimum wage workers into living wage consumers, and uncertain disaster victims into financially empowered disaster survivors. Project 5117 is our multi-year four-pronged approach to combating economic inequality that aims to improve financial literacy, increase business role models and business internships for youth in underserved communities, and stabilize the American dream by boosting FICO scores. Operation HOPE recently received its third consecutive 4-star charity rating for fiscal management and commitment to transparency and accountability by the prestigious non-profit evaluator, Charity Navigator. For more information: Stay in touch with Operation HOPE on Twitter and Facebook @operationhope.
