Operation HOPE Releases Full Schedule for Second Annual Global Financial Dignity Summit in Atlanta Next Week


Two-day Summit to be Emceed by Soledad O’Brian with Keynote Address by NYSE Euronext CEO Duncan Niederauer


ATLANTA – November 8, 2013 – Continuing its efforts to advance the conversation about financial dignity and literacy and its effect on underserved communities and the economy, Operation HOPE will host the second annual HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit (GFDS) on November 13-14, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia. Award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brian will emcee the two-day event. Today, Operation HOPE is releasing the full agenda for the Summit.

In partnership with the City of Atlanta, the two-day summit, “Global Economic Recovery: How The Poor Can Help Save Capitalism,” will be moderated by Soledad O’Brien and frame the issue of financial inclusion, small business, entrepreneurship, jobs, and financial dignity as essential core ingredients to mid and long-term economic recovery and stability. It is expected to draw 1,000 of the most dynamic and influential financial industry professionals, government decision-makers and faith leaders from more than 50 countries around the world.  

Among the speakers and dignitaries expected at the Summit include:

  • Duncan Niederauer, CEO of NYSE Euronext
  • HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, heir to the throne of Norway and co-founder of Global Dignity Day
