HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit Interest Brings in Early Sponsors

Last year’s HGFDS success has attracted attention from major companies.

Atlanta – July 25, 2013 – Operation HOPE, the global leader in financial dignity, announced today that, after the success of last year’s event, the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit has so far gained sponsorship from Allstate, Bank of America, Delta Air Lines, Meta Payment Systems and UPS.

The summit, set for November 13-14, 2013 in Atlanta, will feature remarks from financial experts and global leaders, including the Honorable Sheila Bair, former Chairman of the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Civil Rights Icon Ambassador Andrew Young and Don Graves, Executive Director President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, and Governor Tim Pawlenty, CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable among others. More than 1,000 delegates from around the world are expected to attend.

“We are pleased that a number of companies seem to understand the relevance of the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit. Last year many of our sponsor commitments extended past the event and towards some of our programs where they made a special connection,” said Latresa McLawhorn Ryan global vice president of strategic partnerships and development. “We are excited about expanding our partner sponsorships this year.”

Bank of America reaffirms its commitment to financial literacy and economic empowerment by participating in the event again this year. The American multinational banking and financial services corporation also helps to support several HOPE branches and youth financial literacy programs.

Allstate also supports HOPE programs throughout the year. The insurance giant provides support for HOPE’s Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

Delta and UPS will be Bronze Level sponsors of the summit. UPS also supports HOPE’s disaster recovery efforts for the recent tornado in Oklahoma and Hurricane Sandy relief.

Meta Payment Systems joins as a Bronze Sponsor for the first time this year and are also a founding sponsor of the Gallup-HOPE index.

Under the theme of Global Economic Recovery: How the Poor Can Help Save Capitalism, the summit will offer sustainable solutions for underserved communities and how they can contribute to America’s bottom line.
