Bestselling Author of LOVE LEADERSHIP and Operation HOPE Founder John Hope Bryant Attends World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader

Conference delegates in Ho Chi Mihn City focus on East Asian economic recovery and how regional economic collaboration can lead to future success

Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam – June 7, 2010 – American financial literacy advocate and Operation HOPE (HOPE) Founder, Chairman and CEO, John Hope Bryant participated in the Private Programme for the Young Global Leaders in Vietnam’s largest city as a part of the World Economic Forum's event “On East Asia” from June 5-8, 2010.

The conference, hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and World Economic Forum Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab, focused on Asian leadership issues and Asia’s growing economic power.

Bryant brought his message of Love Leadership to forum breakout sessions. In a conference that focused on collaboration and responsible leadership, the principles of business bestseller LOVE LEADERSHIP: The New Way to Lead in a Fear-based World, implored delegates to embrace a different business philosophy. “The love leadership principles demonstrate a new business model,” Bryant explained. “The best way to achieve what you want is to discover what it is you have to give.”

Recognizing that in China alone there are more English speakers than in the U.S. and that China’s economy is expected to overtake Japan as the world’s second-largest, shows that the region is undergoing a massive change and quality leadership is paramount.

This meeting marks 19th World Economic Forum on Asia. Over 400 A-list delegates from 50 countries united under the theme “"Rethinking Asia's Leadership Agenda” and included Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh of Laos, Wang Zhizhen, Vice-Chairwoman, National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), People's Republic of China, Prime Minister Samdach Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen of Cambodia, and Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva of Thailand among notable others.
