E. Raul Hernandez was born in Havana, Cuba, he is fluent in Spanish. He attended El Monte High School. He is a lifelong learner, attending Pasadena City College, Anthony Real Estate School and graduating from Barkley Career College.
Having worked in the Real Estate field for more than 30 years, Hernandez has been fortunate to work with distinguished organizations such as Ticor Title Insurance and Trust Co., Continental Lawyers Title, Western Title services, United Investments and Beneficial Mortgage; for that period he has also been self-employed as a Notary Public Commissioned by the State of California.
For 11 years, Hernandez owned and managed his own Loan Signing Service. In his career path Raul sustained excellence in his relationships with administrative heads, supervisors and his staff. Together with his team at Operation HOPE, he will endeavor to meet or exceed the recognized standards of excellence expected by the organization.
He serves Operation HOPE as a Program Coordinator supporting the Mortgage HOPE Crisis Hotline. Raul has been a Mortgage Crisis Counselor since March 2009. The Hotline, launched in April of 2007, provides free foreclosure prevention counseling services to homeowners nationwide. The program includes an economic education component, encouraging financial literacy and empowerment through learning and joint participation in the modification negotiation process. Raul provides counseling to homeowners seeking help with their primary residences; he provides budget counseling, develops financial analyses, creates action plans, negotiates with lenders, and provides support services for clients pursuing transition strategies.
Raul is presently Certify as a Mortgage Crisis Counselor, Credit Counselor, Housing Counselor and many other certifications award it by the NeighborWorks America.
