After serving eight years as the North Florida Region Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jack Morgan recently accepted the position of Division Disaster Executive for the American Red Cross. In Jack’s new role, he will oversee Red Cross disaster preparedness, response and recovery for six states in the Southeast and Puerto Rico. He will work with disaster directors throughout the division to enhance Red Cross disaster services as well as strengthen partnerships with other disaster response agencies to better serve organizations, families and individuals affected by disasters.
Prior to taking the helm as CEO, he served for 26 years as a volunteer, wearing almost every hat the chapter had to offer including Chapter Chairman, Board of Directors, and Chairman of Disaster Services.
Before joining the Red Cross he was Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Integration, a local technology company. His past experience also includes working for Barnett Bank, Haskell and CSX.
Jack was a member of the 1996 Leadership Jacksonville Class and has been very involved with Youth Leadership Jacksonville, youth sports and Beach United Methodist.
