Debbie Crowder is an Executive Vice President with SunTrust Banks, Inc and serves as Head of Branch Banking responsible for $3 billion in annual revenue generation, client experience and operational performance of the branch distribution channel including 7600 teammates in 1400 banking centers across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.  .  

During her 33 year SunTrust career she has held a number of leadership roles including  Geographic Retail Line of Business Manager for the company, CEO and Region President of East Tennessee operations for all business segments.  She has also held roles as Commercial Team Leader, Private Wealth Management Team Leader, Sales Manager and Area Manager.  She is known for building high performing teams and industry leading employee engagement results.

Debbie is a proven leader both in numerous external board of director roles as well as one of the top nationwide leaders of bank executives.  Debbie was recently a keynote speaker at the national Bank Administration Institute’s annual conference.

She serves as Chair of Operation HOPE Southeastern Board and Founding member of Grace Place Alliance and serves on the Steering Committee. She is an industry leader in promoting financial well-being for all Americans.   She has held board leadership roles with United Way, Boy Scouts of America, Watkins College of Art, Film & Design, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Sertoma and various economic development agencies.  She is a Connecticut native and graduated college from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN and Graduate School of Banking, Louisiana State University and Emory Goizueta Business School’s Advanced Leadership Program.  She is married to her husband of 31years, Leslie Crowder.
