Craig Robinson is the Head of Enterprise Risk Management at SVB Financial Group and CRA Officer of Silicon Valley Bank where he has worked for the past three years.  Previously he has held positions of increasing responsibility with Bank of America, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Greater Bay Bancorp. 

He is past board chair of Opportunity Fund Northern California and a current board member of the Glow Foundation that combines financial literacy with college readiness training for low-income students.  Craig is also appointed by City Council of Redwood City to its Housing and Human Concerns and Home Improvement Loan Committees that advise on programs that benefit Redwood City’s low income residents.  

A native of east San Jose, Craig began working at the local Bank of America branch office while attending high school and enjoyed helping new immigrants and others new to banking take advantage of the benefits and avoiding the pitfalls of having a bank account.  After earning a B.A. in Spanish from San Jose State University, Craig went to work as a bank examiner and was trained in credit, community reinvestment, and fair lending compliance.  Craig returned to banking where he enjoys working Community Reinvestment Act compliance and community development programs.
