Bob is an Executive Vice President of Chubb & Son, Inc. and the Chief Operating Officer of Chubb Specialty Insurance (CSI), with worldwide responsibilities for the executive protection, financial institution and professional liability underwriting divisions of Chubb.
Prior to assuming his current position in 2003, Bob was the chief underwriting officer for CSI. Previously he was worldwide manager of the Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) of Chubb & Son, a position he’d held since 1996. He joined Chubb in 1981 as a DFI underwriter in San Francisco, and he subsequently was named department manager in 1984, assistant vice president and Eastern Zone manager in 1986, and vice president and worldwide professional liability underwriting manager in 1992.
Bob graduated from San Jose State University in 1981 and holds a BS in business management/finance.
