Dian manages the Community Affairs Department for Bank of the West, and is responsible for the Bank’s philanthropic and employee engagement activities across its 19-state footprint, including contributing to the Bank’s support of the Community Reinvestment Act. Prior to joining the Community Affairs Department in 2009, Dian held several business planning and strategy roles at Bank of the West in the Office of Chief Administrative Officer, Corporate Development and the Enterprise Project Office. 
Prior to joining Bank of the West in 2004, Dian worked for State Street Corporation, a global financial services provider, in its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. Dian began her professional career in Boston as a recruiter and account executive specializing in job placement for architects and designers. 
Dian serves on the Northwestern Region Board and the Banking on Our Future Advisory Committee for Operation HOPE. She also serves on the Performance Outcomes Committee at JVS. Dian is a former board member of Rebuilding Together San Francisco. 
Dian received her BA, International Relations, and MBA, Finance, from Boston University.
