Darryl Harmon, Wells Fargo’s Southeast regional president, heads community banking and serves as the senior Wells Fargo leader for Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is based in Atlanta. Within the region Wells Fargo serves customers at more than 600 locations and employs nearly 11,000 team members in various business lines. A 25-year veteran of the financial services industry, Harmon was previously regional president for Central California. Before that he was head of business banking for that region and had been a business banking manager in Iowa. He was previously the Quad Cities president for Brenton Bank, acquired by Wells Fargo in 2000. Previously he was with Bank One in Illinois. Harmon is active in the community, currently serving on the Atlanta Committee for Progress and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Executive Advisory Board. In California, he served on the boards of the Children’s Hospital of Central California Foundation and the Marjoree Mason Center, which helps women confronting domestic violence. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Memphis State University and an MBA from the University of Illinois. He grew up in Lexington in western Tennessee.
