The HOPE Financial Literacy Empowerment Centers offer a range of comprehensive workshops that can help you repair your credit, buy a home, start a small business, or take charge of your finances. Each of the following group workshops is offered as a standard compliment to our financial literacy programs.

Check the HOPE Center near you for schedules and availability for the following workshops and trainings:

• Earned Income Tax Credit Information Session. Learn how you can take advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit. Offered during tax season (Jan 1-April 14).

• Credit & Money Management Workshop.This two-hour credit course is offered as part of our Credit Counseling program. It provides an introduction to the power of credit, common credit questions, and how to establish and repair your credit.

• Small Business Workshop. As part of our Small Business Empowerment Program, this two-hour session provides an introduction to starting and running your own small business.

• Home Buyer Workshop. An introduction to homeownership—its benefits, challenges, and getting started.

• Entrepreneurial Training Course. Learn the advanced skills you need to make your small business successful—including marketing, business planning, and funding options.

• Six-Step Guide to Homeownership. Our real estate specialists provide advanced training on the steps required to own your own home, from selection to close-out.
