America’s First Line of Response for Financial Recovery.

HOPE Coalition America (HCA) is the only Fnancial emergency preparedness and recovery service in the country. Through partnerships with the American Red Cross, FEMA, and industry leaders, our teams deploy in response to federal-declared natural and man-made disasters to serve as a financial advocate for local homeowners, renters and small business owners. 

Financial issues affect far more people after a disaster than property damage or personal injury, and the impact is usually devastating. Through the HOPE Crisis Hotline and HCA on-site counseling centers, HOPE Inside coaches help survivors mitigate credit issues, develop emergency budget counseling, communicate with creditors, obtain SBA loans, prevent foreclosure, and prepare for the future.

  • Homeowner and renter insurance claims and appeals
  • Disaster recovery budgeting
  • Small business recovery; SBA applications and appeals
  • Replacing lost or destroyed documents
  • Negotiating and working with creditors
  • Managing mortgage payments on damaged/destroyed homes
  • Foreclosure prevention
  • Home inspections and repair contracts

HCA also provides pre-disaster preparedness planning. An Emergency Financial First Aid Kit (EFFAK) and Personal Disaster Preparedness Guide (PDPG) are available online or through a HOPE Inside location.

  • Referrals to government and private agencies.
  • Assistance with obtaining copies of destroyed financial documents.
