7M+ Viewers Inspired by “Silver Rights” Series
Facebook Live video series launched by Operation HOPE founder earlier this year is challenging discourse, changing lives, and widening public engagement around financial inclusion and social uplift.
ATLANTA – July 5, 2016 – More than seven million viewers have tuned in to the “Silver Rights” live video series on Facebook launched in early March by John Hope Bryant, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Operation HOPE, Inc.
Bryant’s ‘straight talk’ approach to a spectrum of social topics—economic empowerment, race, poverty, personal development, financial inclusion—has developed into a thought provoking unpacking of solutions to address critical public issues. One video piece, entitled, “What’s REAL Slavery Today,” has gone viral—with more than one million views.
“It’s inspiring to see the engagement that this series has generated,” Bryant said. “More so, I’m pleased that the people who are watching are really listening to the messages and beginning to connect the dots and take steps to take their lives back.”
