Tara Dennis Promoted to Market Vice President of the Atlanta Market

Financial dignity leader Operation HOPE announced today that Tara Dennis has been promoted to Market Vice President of the Atlanta Market. In her new role, Dennis will report directly to Louis Negrón President of the Atlanta Region Market & Southeast.

“I am extremely pleased that Tara Dennis will be stepping into this critically important position,” said Negrón. “Tara has served as a tireless and effective member of the team in Atlanta, in this role she will be in a better position to help HOPE give rise to people struggling financially in the Atlanta area.”

Ms. Dennis started as the program manager for Operation HOPE’s award-winning program, Banking on Our Future - Classroom Edition; a program focused on helping students develop healthy attitudes about money. During that time, Tara managed a database of more than 1,600 Corporate Volunteers.

Tara's background includes 20 years experience primarily in operations, marketing and programs/project management. A visit to Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics more than convinced her to make Atlanta her new home and she has served its needs well. She is a proud alumnus of Texas A&M University and Mercer University where she obtained her Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) at the Stetson School of Business and Economics with a Dual Concentration in Global Marketing and International Business. She is a member of the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and serves the community in various board appointment capacities. Of particular mention is her role mentoring young ladies of metro Atlanta with the Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In her leisure, she enjoys global travel, sampling new cuisines, tennis and philanthropic efforts.
