Portland has been the hub of financial literacy education for the entire Northwest region. Thanks to locally-based HOPE program managers, as well as community leaders, government officials and HOPE Corps volunteers, Portland has been a leader in youth economic empowerment since 2004, educating over 36,500 youth and over 750 volunteers.
