Edward Henderson joins Operation HOPE as Senior Vice President of Development

ATLANTA – Nov. 10, 2017  Global financial dignity and economic empowerment nonprofit, Operation HOPE, Inc., announced today that Edward Henderson II has joined the organization as senior vice president of development. In this role Henderson has full responsibility for Operation HOPE national development activities and new partnerships, sponsorships, grants, and supporters.

An Atlanta civic leader, Henderson led development in the technology and consulting sectors for over 17 years. Accustomed to closing multi-million dollar deals, he brings expertise, sales process, and relentless determination to the development team. Henderson’s passion for the welfare of children, the disenfranchised, and an improved of quality of life for youth and low- to moderate-income families in underserved communities, drives his development sensibilities.

Henderson holds a degree in clinical psychology from Georgia State University, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. He was awarded the Howard Hughes Fellowship for Research at Johns Hopkins University, School of Arts and Science.
