KPMG Foundation CEO, Diana Tsui, to Chair The Future of Philanthropy Working Group Session for HOPE Global Summit

Atlanta – November 11, 2012 - Operation HOPE announced today that Diana Tsui, who heads the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity Department at KPMG China and is the Chief Executive Officer of the KPMG Foundation will Chair The Future of Philanthropy, CSR and CRA Working Group and be a featured speaker during the closing plenary "Where Do We Go From Here." Tsui’s role will be key in addressing issues around financial dignity during the two-day global conference November 14-15, streamed live from Atlanta, Georgia.

With over 1,000 delegates representing over 25 different countries, the HOPE Global Financial Dignity Summit (HGFDS) is a solutions-driven conference with speakers focused on bringing financial dignity and empowerment for long-term economic sustainability for all. The event will include plenary sessions and financial inclusion working group sessions addressing various topics related to current financial issues that impact the world.

Tsui, oversaw the establishment of the KPMG Foundation in 2002 and laid down strategies for the CSR Department, focused on education and sustainable development to address poverty, diversity and climate change issues works to bring fairness and respect to under-served communities. She headed NIKE’s Community Affairs function in Asia Pacific in 1997, where she led the company in bringing positive changes to disadvantage communities. She joined the Mercy Corps in 2002 as Managing Director for East Asia. Tsui has been a Member of the Board of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation since 2005 and Honorary Adviser to the Social Science Faculty at the University of Hong Kong since 2008. She holds an Executive MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master’s degree in International Public Affairs from the University of Hong Kong. She was named a Yale World Fellow in 2010.
