Gayla Scurlock has been in the banking industry for 25 years and is currently Vice President, Compliance Officer and Community Reinvestment Act Officer with First Federal Savings and Loan Association of San Rafael in San Rafael, California. She is an experienced corporate executive with expertise in federal and state banking regulations, financial analysis, credit review, loan documentation review, and retail operations. She is proficient in community reinvestment development and the administration of charitable contribution. Gayla has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Minor in Finance, recognized as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and obtained multiple certifications.
Gayla is a native San Franciscan and resides in Vallejo, California with her loving husband, Ronald Scurlock, married for 27 years. They have two grown wonderful and blessed children.
Gayla’s dedication and support does not stop with First Federal, she has played important roles with Operation Hope over the years. She has participated as a HOPE Corp Volunteer teaching financial literary to youth in underserved areas and past chairperson on the San Francisco Bay Area Banking On Our Future Program Advisory Council/Youth Empowerment Program Advisory Council.
