Kent Stone, vice chairman of consumer banking sales and support, leads U.S. Bank’s overall consumer and small business strategy and product management functions, as well as 24-hour banking, mortgage and all consumer lending activities.
Previously, Kent was the executive vice president and chief strategist of consumer banking, overseeing the strategic support services which encompassed: Corporate marketing/advertising, community affairs, small business loan centers, small business/consumer product management, market analytics and performance solutions, consumer operational support, metro private banking/trust, SBA lending and ATM/debit services.
Kent has held various senior management positions within U.S. Bancorp since 1980.
Kent graduated from the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, Consumer Banker Association, in Charlottesville, Virginia; holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota; and a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.
Professional Affiliations/Community Involvement
Kent serves on the board of directors of the Greater Sacramento Urban League, the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, and Hope Global. He is also a member of the BAI Research executive advisory council.
