Robert Rumley, III

After a brief stint in venture capital, Rob began his career in the financial services industry in 2001. From the beginning, Rob has focused on comprehensive wealth management strategies for wealthy families, entrepreneurs and corporate executives. A graduate of Morehouse College, Rob joined Merrill Lynch in 2006, coming from UBS Financial Services in Atlanta. Rob proudly serves as the Board Chair of the Giving Tree, a non-profit Adoption Resource center that recruits and trains families to provide permanent homes for children in the foster care system of Georgia that are categorized as "Special Needs" cases. His community involvement also includes the Education and Membership Committees of NARAS (National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) - Atlanta Chapter, serving as a financial management trainer in the Buckhead Christian Ministries Money Management Program, Andrew & Walter Young YMCA Board of Managers, and the Rainbow Push Peachtree Street Project Corporate Advisory Council . Rob and his wife MaKara reside in East Point, GA with their two children Chace (3) and Robert (1).
