Apply to Become a Fellow

HOPE seeks talented, self-motivated individuals committed to global economic and social justice. Broadly, HOPE Fellows have the following traits:

• A record of remarkable professional and educational achievement early
• Evidence of leadership skills and the potential for further growth
• Track record of working towards economic and social justice
• Ability to work well with diverse groups 
• Strong personal initiative and motivation

All these qualities combined with the strength of one’s character, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others are taken into consideration when selecting a HOPE Fellow.

HOPE Fellows are graduate students or upper-level undergraduate students with an interest in aiding a HOPE manager in a specialized project over the course of the year. HOPE Fellows will have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in a course of study that aligns with the work of the department with which they work. The HOPE Fellows Program recruits and prepares high-quality, dedicated individuals to become advocates of financial dignity and empowerment. HOPE is committed to providing fellows with a unique experience through exciting leadership development programs and meaningful mentoring from our dynamic executives.

Operation HOPE awards Fellowships on a non-partisan basis, and encourages balance and diversity in all aspects of the program.

Completed applications should be submitted to elaine.fischer@operationhope.org by the specific submission deadline date for each fellowship.  Applications submitted after the submission deadline will not be considered.   A completed application consists of a personal statement, and a current resume, and copies of all education transcripts (unofficial transcripts are accepted).
