What if we could reconnect the power of aspiration with the power of education in our children's lives? What if students in grades 4-12 could start a business for $50 to $500? What if they could get courses in financial literacy and financial dignity linked with a primer course in entrepreneurship?
Introducing HOPE Business In A Box Academy (HBIABA)
Students participate in the Gallup-HOPE Index each Fall to measure their level of hope, well-being, engagement, financial literacy, and economic energy
Students then are empowered through a financial literacy and entrepreneurship program
Students can choose from more than 25 businesses that can be started for $500 or less,
Pitch their startup in front of a live audience and top leaders from their community
Work with a business mentor for 10 weeks
Present their business plan to HOPE and receive a HOPE Business In A Box Academy Entrepreneurship Grant up to $500
The Gallup-HOPE Index, a donation to America’s schools from Gallup and Operation HOPE, measures Hope Business In A Box Academies from the point of when child signs up and continues to follow their ventures from the front-end, middle and the back-end. HOPE Business In A Box will change everything.
