Chairman's Advisory Council Work

Chairman John Hope Bryant has served as a financial literacy public policy advisor to federal government administrations since the President Reagan Administration.  Chair Bryant was an official appointed federal government advisory council Vice Chair and Member to the following federal administrations:

President Bush in 2008 for one term
President Obama in 2010 and 2013 for two terms

Chair Bryant has served on the Clinton Foundation's Financial Inclusion Advisory Board.

Across America, hundreds of local financial literacy councils have been created based on the public policy recommendations made by Chair Bryant.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton described Mr. Bryant in his recent bestselling book GIVING saying, “John Bryant is a 41 year-old whirlwind of ideas and action. Lean, intense, focused, and completely positive in his belief in the potential of poor people to prosper, with ‘a hand up and not a hand out."

A national community leader cited by the past five sitting U.S. presidents for his work to empower low-wealth communities across America, John Hope Bryant is one of the most authoritative and compelling advocates for poverty eradication in America today.
